TRAUMA-FOCUSED
INDIVIDUAL THERAPY
Pensacola, FL
Trauma can impact your sense of safety, relationships, and daily life, leaving you feeling stuck, overwhelmed, and out of control. Together, we can quiet your nervous system and reprocess stressful memories so you can stop surviving and start living.
Carly Snyder, LCSW
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over a decade of experience helping individuals navigate trauma, anxiety, and major life transitions.
I welcome individuals across the LGBTQ+ spectrum and strive to provide a safe and affirming space to support your authentic self.
My approach is collaborative and moves at your pace and comfort level. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
My office is located at Adult & Child Mental Health Care in downtown Pensacola.
WHAT I OFFER
Explore a range of treatment options designed to help you move forward with confidence.
-
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing is a structured psychotherapy designed to alleviate distress from traumatic memories. It uses bilateral stimulation, such as guided eye movements, to help the brain reprocess stuck memories.
-
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is a structured form of psychotherapy that focuses on understanding the relationship between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors and reframing unhelpful thought patterns.
-
Internal Family Systems is a non-pathologizing treatment that views the mind as a complex ecosystem made up of multiple “parts.” This approach aims to identify, unblend, and heal traumatized parts.
-
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy is a mindfulness-based approach that focuses on managing stress by improving awareness, acceptance, and commitment to change.
